Work for the Enterprise
There are plenty of ways to get involved: hunt beasts, negotiate deals, test inventions, handle sensitive business, or follow a tip that brings you into contact with a local faction. Choose work that interests your character and find someone to write with.
Occurrences
Occurrences are writing prompts tied to the Enterprise's regions and factions. Treat them as tips or opportunities the company pays its contractors to handle.
Any occurrence not marked completed remains available, including older prompts. Use its Discord thread to express interest and arrange a scene.
When organizing, tell others:
- Which prompt you want to explore.
- Whether you prefer collaborative improvisation or a DM-led scene.
- Any relevant writing boundaries.
- Whether the scene will take place in-game or on Discord.
- Whether you want to use d20 rolls for outcomes.
We recommend writing with at least one other person. A DM and dice are optional for ordinary occurrences.

Beast Hunts
The bestiary provides beasts in Tural and Thavnair that can be hunted for materials and compensation. Comment beneath a beast's profile to find interested writers, or arrange a hunt through the Job Board.
Regular
Regular hunts can be improvised or DM-led, with optional rolls. Keep the number of beasts and materials realistic.
Rare
Rare hunts have specified group requirements and are led by a volunteer DM or an officer. Follow the requirements of each listing.
Server membership and appropriate channel access may be required.
Trade & Craft
Merchants can present wares and arrange deals on behalf of the Enterprise. Artisans can showcase creations, seek testers, and craft items for company work.

Marks & Advancement
Marks record your character's contributions in three fields:
Ranger
Combat, protection, and healing.
Examples: Ranger-tagged jobs or demonstrations, beast hunts, and fight nights.
Consul
Trade, diplomacy, and negotiation.
Examples: Consul-tagged jobs or demonstrations, selling Enterprise goods outside the FC, attending associate events, and market nights.
Artisan
Crafting and research.
Examples: Artisan-tagged jobs or demonstrations, crafting for a job with DM approval, and advertising a crafted item and having two players test it.
Members may earn marks across multiple fields.
Progression Ranks
| Rank | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Freelance Contractor | Starting position |
| Employee | 10 total marks |
| Steward | 20 total marks |
| Kestrel | 30 total marks |
Reaching 10 marks makes full employment available; it does not automatically change a contractor's arrangement. Interested contractors can send an IC letter of intention to any of the three company holdings.
Ranks and Titles
Rank uses your total marks across all fields. Titles recognize work in a specific field.
Every 10 marks in one field earns a Scarab Coin for that field. Your first coin allows recognition as a Ranger, Consul, or Artisan.
Example
Example: Five Ranger marks and five Consul marks total ten marks, making you eligible to pursue employment. Ten Ranger marks also earn a Ranger Scarab Coin and the Ranger title.
Keep IC advancement separate from OOC staff roles.
Report Your Work
To receive credit, post a completion report in Reports & Communications and ping leadership.
Include the job or hunt, participants, and important outcomes: materials recovered, deals struck, allies made, civilian or guard deaths, or other consequences. Reports may be IC or OOC and can be brief.
