Find Your Place in Blackfeather
Blackfeather welcomes writers and characters aged 21 or older. Our RP includes trade, mercenary work, crafting, social scenes, and darker themes. We value collaboration, respect for boundaries, and characters whose abilities leave room for others to contribute.

How Joining Works
Submit an application introducing yourself and your character.
Leadership opens an OOC discussion to clarify your interests, boundaries, and goals.
We arrange introductory roleplay at a mutually suitable time.
Your character begins as a contractor. You may pursue full employment through involvement or remain a contractor long-term.
Submitting an application does not automatically grant membership.

Community Rules
1.Respect Other Writers
Treat community members as peers. Bigoted behavior, attitudes, and viewpoints are not tolerated. Leadership may remove members for rule violations or other reasons necessary to protect the community.
2.Keep IC and OOC Separate
In-character conflict does not represent the writer's feelings or beliefs. Be mindful of emotional bleed and keep character tensions separate from interactions between players.
3.Romance and Sexual Themes
Private sexual RP requires the consent of everyone involved. ERP is not permitted in public overworld locations or public FC spaces.
4.Preserve Agency and Fair Play
No godmodding: avoid abilities that trivialize the setting, its conflicts, or other characters. Blackfeather uses moderate power levels. Ask leadership if you are unsure about your character's abilities.
No poweremoting: do not force another writer's character to accept an outcome. Leave them control over their character's response.
No metagaming: do not use OOC knowledge as IC knowledge without an in-character reason for knowing it.
